My name is Art Hong Ly. I am a home finder, not a real estate agent. I specialise in finding the right home for people who are looking for somewhere to rent or buy in Phnom Penh. I am experienced in this work and I know how to help people.
Most of my clients come from overseas countries like Australia, Canada, Norway, Singapore, Sweden, UK and USA. I also help local people in Cambodia.
My style is to listen to what the client wants and to find the right place for them at the right price.
I have a network of home owners, landlords and landladies who know and trust me. They notify me directly when their place becomes available for rent. Often they prefer to use me rather than advertise through the large real estate companies.
I also help negotiate lease agreements between home owners and tenants so that the terms are clear and all parties are satisfied.
I prefer to work with home owners, landlords and landladies I can trust, too. I try to make sure the property is cleaned very well and all repairs are done before my clients move in.
If any misunderstandings arise between the home owner and tenant, I am happy to help sort things out.
My commission is paid by the owner, not added to the rent. I take you around to show you properties at no cost to you–it’s what I call a ‘clean-heart service’.

I just wanted to thank Art for his assistance with locating a fantastic home for my wife and I…plus our soon to arrive little boy ! He conducted himself in a very professional manner, was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and overall provided a service better than anything I have experienced through a real estate group. He had quite a few options for us to look at but upon meeting & talking with us seemed to know exactly which property would best suit our needs. We found our new home on the first day !!!! Amazing ! There is an art to finding the right abode for someone. Art literally has this art!
He picked me up on a Sunday when he could have been doing other things, took me to see 6 places around the city, never asked for a penny for gas and the first place he showed me was absolutely perfect (I wanted to be safe by seeing the other 5!). I have the feeling Art new the first place was perfect for me but he was patient enough to keep showing me alternatives. He even paid my deposit up front to secure the place. This man goes beyond the call of duty in every regard and I have no hesitation recommending him to anybody and everybody.
Thanks Art, you’re the man!

A simple way to put it is Art knows his job very well. He’ll find you what you need, at a good market price, with a minimum of hassle, and help you with anything that pops up along the way. Also he’s a very easy person to deal with. That’s my experience, anyway.

Today, November 3, 2010, Art has found me a wonderful home in Phno. Penh. He really works hard for you. He negotiated a lower price and was a great middle man between myself and the landlady. He spent three days with me, driving around, looking at various properties. I would whole-heartedly recommend Art to everyone. As a matter of fact, while at a local realty office, I met a couple in my predicament, I gave them Art’s number.
